x2 - Green Lantern REAL LIFE SIZE Signal + Green Lantern Signal Desktop display piece

Ok guys, I have been working on this thing for the past 14 days, so i have to ask you now... Are you afraid... to build this thing ? :D

It comes as 2 separate projects and has a total of 141 parts :D

I could write a whole chapter about this release, but that would be far too annoying to read, so I’ll just cut it down to the important features and explain a little bit about how I designed this monster :D

So here we go:

1 — Green Lantern Signal — REAL LIFE SIZE — 1:1 scale

  • I estimated the height at around 160 cm

  • Comes split into parts to fit an X1C-size build plate

  • Parts have their names carved into them, so it’s easier to tell everything apart once printed

  • Designed with connectors for nuts and bolts for extra structural strength, so everything is nice and sturdy once tightened up

  • I tried to find a good balance between wall thickness and overall size, so it’s not unnecessarily heavy and doesn’t waste too much filament, while still being sturdy enough for transport

  • The switch/handle is movable, so you can use it to install your own switch/electronics and turn the signal on and off

  • I designed it with holes and space for wires and electronics in mind (Quick disclosure: you will have to use your own light setup for this one)

  • 3MF is split into material groups, pre-supported and rotated

  • Split into 4 main sections for easier assembly

2 — Green Lantern Signal — Desktop Display Piece

This one is smaller, at only 22 cm in height.

  • I also designed it to fit simple electronics (for example, a simple LED, battery and switch) - A recommended basic electronics setup is included, but as always, I encourage you to try different lighting setups and share them with the rest of us

  • 3MF is split by material and designed for easy assembly

  • I recommend using translucent material/filament for the "glass" parts

  • The on/off switch position is located at the bottom of the stand, hidden from view due to the size of the handle

  • The plaque is included in 3MF format for multicolor printing, designed to be printed face-down on the build plate for a smooth finish

And that’s it guys :D

I think this one is really one of a kind now :D
