Starting with some simple/quick releases this month :)
As many of you know, Paz Vizsla is my baby. He’s what got me started seriously with making all of this, and it’s been a while since I worked on anything Paz-related.
So this time, we have two new releases:
1 — Pneum 150
The Pneum 150 is a metallic canister that dispenses a pressurized mist of bacta, used to heal wounds, numb pain, and fight infection.
We can see Paz using it to help Din Djarin in The Mandalorian.
Sadly, I don’t have a spray mechanism at hand that I can use for the model, so for now the handle bar is movable, while the canister has a twist-lock mechanism.
This means you can print the canister in clear resin or filament and add your own liquids/effects inside to make it look even more interesting.
And I also want to give a big thank you to our Bryan McLarty for bringing the Pneum 150 idea to me! It’s such a great addition to the Heavy Mando set, and I’m really happy we got to make it happen.
2 — Accurate Paz Back Plate
Moving on to some accuracy details!
In The Book of Boba Fett, we finally got a proper look at what Paz’s back plate actually looks like underneath the jetpack.
So, for those of you who are cosplaying Paz without the jetpack, I’ve now made a clean back plate based on the version seen in The Book of Boba Fett.
If you look at the reference, you’ll notice that the plate is rather thick. What I did here was keep the edges thick, while making the rest of the plate thinner.
This way, you don’t waste a ton of filament and add unnecessary weight to the entire thing. From the outside, the plate will still look massive and thick, while in reality it’s much thinner and lighter.
I’ve also included the thin version of the plate for those who prefer to print it that way.
Oh, and I’ve included the connectors as well! These will help you put the whole thing together after printing, while also adding some extra structural strength to the finished plate.
